COMPETITION INFORMATION
Registrations: Pumpkin Central, BGA Carpark (opens 8am, closes 1pm)
Entry Fee: $10 – Adult + BYO Pumpkin | $2 – Child + BYO Pumpkin
Requirements: 1x Pumpkin per person (table pumpkins – butternut pumpkins not recommended)
Location: Policeman’s Hill (Hodge Street)
Marshalling Time: 1:30pm at the top of Policeman’s Hill
Event Time: 1:45pm (Sponsors/Invitation Challenge), 2:00pm (Main Event)

Rules:
(Table pumpkins only – Butternut pumpkins are not recommended for bowling)
- Registrations open at 8.00am and close at 1.00pm and located at Pumpkin Central in the BGA Parking Lot
- Registration fees are: Adults $10 Junior $2
- Pumpkin must accompany competitor at time of registration
- Pumpkins can ber purchased on the day or you can bring your own
- Pumpkins must me at least 12cm in diameter
- Each pumpkin will bear the identification of the festival organising committee
- A competitor will be disqualified if: A) The pumpkin leaves the marked track B) The competitor crosses the start line or part thereof C) After the start, the pumpkin is touched by anyone
- Pumpkins can be pushed, rolled or bowled using an underarm action. No throwing or overarm bowling is allowed
- Competitors/Spectators cannot enter the designated pumpkin track at any time during or following the roll results are recorded
- Competitors must assemble at the start line at 1.30pm for marshalling (top of Hodge Street/Policeman’s Hill)
- Any competitor not present when his/her name/number is called for marshalling will be disqualified
- The competition will run in two (2) divisions: Adult (over 12yrs) Junior (12yrs and younger) If there is any doubt, proff of age will be required for Junior
- If a pumpkin is deemed to be too big for safety in the roll, the pumpkin will not be registered (e.g. well over-sized table pumpkin)
- The judges decisions are final
